Andy Warhol (August 6, 1928 – February 22, 1987) is considered one of the most celebrated figures in the art world of the 20th century. He was a pioneer and leader of Pop Art, and its most influential artist. He was also a filmmaker, writer, rock composer, and publisher, and a prominent figure in New York's social and art circles.

Black Flowers:

Flowers are ubiquitous in art and culture. Andy Warhol transformed a photograph of hibiscus flowers into a series of colorful silkscreen prints, experimenting with color and layering using the silkscreen process. The flowers in his works are impersonal, encouraging viewers to consider the interest of flowers, even when they are unrecognizable, and to appreciate their simplicity.

This is the album cover created by artist Andy Warhol for the Velvet Underground and Nico. This merchandise design continues the vibrant colors and bold composition of Warhol's work, utilizing repetition, layering, and representation. The work draws on fashionable cultural elements of the time, reflecting current popular trends and phenomena.

Cow:

In the mid-1960s, Warhol, facing a period of artistic stagnation, considered taking a break from his artistic practice. New York gallery owner Leo Castelli suggested he create new subjects for a new exhibition. His suggestion of "something pastoral, like cows," led to the birth of Warhol's "Cow" series of prints.

Created between 1966 and 1976, these "cow" images were inspired by the bullheads used in popular ice cream advertisements of the time. When it was exhibited in the gallery, wallpaper printed with cows covered the entire floor and ceiling as the exhibition background. The strong visual impact actually diluted the "idyllic feeling" that was originally intended to be created.
